40-Hour Online Pediatric/Adolescent Training Program
This online pediatric/adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) didactic training program is geared toward the Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse planning on practicing in the role of pediatric SANE. Students must have a minimum of an RN license before beginning this course. This course meets the IAFN SANE Education Guidelines and provides 40 contact hours in nursing upon completion. 41-Hour Online Adolescent/Adult Training Program
This online adult/adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) didactic training program is geared toward the Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse planning on practicing in the role of SANE. Students must have a minimum of an RN license before beginning this course. This course meets the IAFN SANE Education Guidelines and provides 41 contact hours in nursing upon completion. See Course Outline.

Clinical Skills Simulation Training May also be Available
IAFN has partnered with several sites across the US and Canada to offer a 16-hour clinical simulation training in an effort to assist students in becoming competent in the performance of the adult sexual assault medical forensic examination. Independent facilities are hosting their own clinical simulation training utilizing the IAFN curriculum for a separate cost.
